Cosmetology & Advanced Makeup 1884

Like our Cosmetology 1800 program, the Cosmetology & Advanced Makeup 1884 program prepares you for a successful long term career in the beauty industry. Not only will you learn the necessary technical skills, business planning, and communication skills that you learn in our standard Cosmetology program, but you’ll spend an additional 84 hours learning MUD make-up and airbrush applications, as well as Sugarlash eyelash extensions and lash lifts!

For the first ten weeks of the program, you will be working in a classroom of no more than 20 students, allowing for your learning and creativity to foster and grow. The rest of the program will consist of a combination of classroom and hands-on experience. You’ll get a chance to practice your newly acquired skills on our simulated salon floor, where you’ll be working with real guests in a vibrant and dynamic atmosphere to help prepare you for the professional world!

Both in-person and virtual tours are available! Click here to schedule. Call or text 608-783-7400.

“I originally started going to school for social work. I realized I really liked working with people, but I just wasn’t in the right industry. I first started looking at other schools, but The Salon Professional Academy (TSPA) didn’t even compare to any other schools I had seen.

Within the first few months you get really close with the class you start with. I still stay in touch with all of the people I started class with and it’s fun to compare and see where we’re all growing now. It’s hard to describe how I feel getting the chance to make other people feel good about themselves. You can’t have a bad day at work when that’s what you’re doing all day.” – Heidi, Cosmetology Alumni
